Summary: SQL Server Failover Clustering, which includes support for both local and multisite failover configurations, is part of the SQL Server 2012 AlwaysOn implementation suite, designed to provide high availability and disaster recovery for SQL Server. The multisite failover clustering technology has been enhanced significantly in SQL Server 2012. The multisite failover cluster architecture, enhancements in SQL Server 2012 to the technology, and some best practices to help with deployment of the technology are the primary focus of this paper.

Good to see you guys cranking out these kind of documents in advance of the big release
thanks for sharing this info.
Good paper, but you guys forgot to mention that you can build multisite clusters with host based replication solutions as well. When you consider the speed of some of the new local SSD type storage devices, host based replication solutions from companies like SIOS, Double-Take and Symantec make the perfect compliment that allow users to build highly fast and efficient SQL Server instances using local SSD storage yet still achieve high availability and disaster recovery with AlwayOn Multisite Clusters.
